At the state Capitol in the House, State Representatives Patti Anderson (33A), Brion Curran (36B), Josiah Hill (33B) and Elliott Engen (36A) are now actively involved. They have co-authored a bill to provide an additional $2 million for the Lake Links trail project in Dellwood. In the Minnesota Senate there is matching action. Senator Karin Housley (district 33) and Senator Heather Gustafson (district 36) have co-authored a similar bill. The intent is to bridge the funding gap created by inflation and other factors since original estimates were prepared in 2018. The house bill is HF1505. The senate bill is SF1558 . Please thank these representatives and senators for their great work and leadership; their emails can be found in the links above. Your voice on this issue is being listened to at the state Capitol.

Updates to the progress of these bills can be found here: HF1505 and SF1558

A collaboration meeting of Dellwood, Washington County, MNDoT and Lake Links is expected to be set up in May by Washington County.
