Thanks to some very generous contributions, we are at 37% of the goal of $6,500 to be raised for the revitalization of Streetcar Park (now the major rest stop on the trail with picnic benches, covered bridge and more). The city of Mahtomedi will be adding to the effort with their labor and installing screening fence, concrete pad and walkway for the Portapotti facility, plus a drinking fountain for the picnic area. ( total City contribution around $35,000) . Volunteers will also contribute around 250 hours of labor .
