The regular session of Minnesota’s 94th Legislature began on January 14 and will adjourn on May 19. In those 125 days, members of the House and Senate will work to introduce, discuss, and decide the passage of bills drafted to address a range of issues facing the state.
Three bills under consideration relate to pedestrians and bicycles:
SF 2094 amends pedestrian right-of-way and addresses drivers’ duties.
HF 3418 Â outlines a community-based pedestrian safety program and provides funding to implement.
SF 4186Â modifies the definition and registration requirements for motorized bicycles and electric motorcycles.
