Streetcar Park updates – July 2025

Come and see all the plants growing, kids playing, and water flowing through Depot Creek at Streetcar Park. 

So far this summer we have been busy removing invasive plants at the park. We added more wood chips on the trails inside the park for kids and adults to see what’s growing and living at the park. There is also a big stump with a tick tack toe board and a big rock snake that continues to grow with new painted rocks added every day.

On Thursday, July 31, 2:00–5:00 there will be a planting day at Streetcar Park.  Volunteers are needed for the planting day.  Wear sturdy shoes and work gloves and be ready to dig in the dirt. Feel free to join us for whatever time you have available. Kids and families are welcome. 

Watch for big additions this fall as the picnic area is finished and additional play features are added. See our fundraising efforts for the slide here.  We are at 66% of our goal of $4,800.  Please help and donate so this key play feature can get added to Streetcar Park.
